- Provide, operate, and improve the Tethyr service.
- Process calls using AI and deliver transcripts and notifications.
- Handle billing, invoicing, and subscription management.

3. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party providers to operate Tethyr:
- Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
- Twilio — Telephony and SMS. Call audio is transmitted via Twilio's infrastructure.
- Clerk — Authentication and user management.
- Google Cloud / AWS — Cloud hosting and data storage.
We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
4. HIPAA Compliance
For healthcare customers, Tethyr offers HIPAA-compliant call handling. Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) are available on the Enterprise plan. If you handle Protected Health Information (PHI), please contact us to execute a BAA before transmitting PHI through the service.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including 256-bit TLS encryption for data in transit, AES-256 encryption for data at rest, and SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure. Access to customer data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
6. Data Retention
Call recordings and transcripts are retained based on your plan (30 days to 1 year). Account information is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal and business purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Data portability (receive your data in a structured format).
